AIR CONDITIONING UPDATE: R22

Now’s the time to act and replace climate control systems still using R22. New sources of R22 have already been phased out. Only reclaimed R22 is currently available. After 2014, all sources of R22 will be banned. So any equipment requiring R22 gas will become redundant.

HOW DOES THIS AFFECT YOU?

The impact of the R22 phase out will be felt by any organisation that uses R22 refrigerant. So it is vital to replace R22 systems before price rises and supply shortages mean you will no longer be able to service or maintain R22 systems. This could impact on building systems long before January 2015.
